“’I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also’”
-John 10:16a

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb”
-Revelation 7:9a

The following is a small picture upon the unfolding drama of GOD purchasing a peculiar people to the honor and glory of His name…

From the Elders of Faith Bible Church
We are writing this on behalf of Kevin and Jennifer Davis, members of Faith Bible Church, their sending church in taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached people.
It has been our privilege to know the Davis family over the past 4+ years. In that time we’ve come to know their hearts’ desire to reach people with the Gospel. Their commitment to truth, personal, and family purity is both an encouragement to us and a breath of fresh air.
We would ask you to take the time to let Kevin and Jennifer talk with you about what God is doing in and through them for His glory.
May you prayerfully consider joining us in helping them be released financially to take the Gospel to people who have not heard.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
United with you for God’s glory!

About Us
Kevin and Jennifer – Childhood sweethearts, now going on sixteen years of marriage. We home-school our six little (and big) blessings, and are striving to raise them in the admonition of the Lord. Kimberly (15), Brittany (12), Trent (6), Cody (4), Winsome (2), and Michaela (6 mos.). We are a family committed to following the Lord in all we do just as you. For us that means bringing the gospel to a people in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. We pray that God will use us there to help His sheep hear His voice (John 10:27).

Our Passion
When we embarked on a short-term work trip to Mexico in 2003, we had no idea the burden the Lord would put on our hearts for the lost nations. Through a series of refining, God-ordained trials, He was training us for the mission field. Amidst them we also took Bible and ‘Perspectives in World Missions’ classes. Most recently we completed an 8-month missionary training program through the Center for Pioneer Church Planting (CPCP) with To Every Tribe Ministries (TETM) in south Texas. There we received doctrinal training, dental training for use in the field as a tangible way to break barriers by showing the love of God, and 5 weeks of hands-on ministry and church-planting training in 3 different Mexico locations. Our training at CPCP offered us grounding in the principles of teamwork within a group dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel where Jesus Christ is not yet known.

Our Purpose
We seek to go where we have already been, in a way. Our hearts were drawn to the Coicoyan Indians of Oaxaca, Mexico from hearing about them in 2006. CPCP took us there. The relationships, opportunities, and cultural experiences while there only confirmed for us the Lord’s leading. Our hearts long to return to Oaxaca, establish ourselves in the village as residents (not just visitors for a week), and minister to the villagers as a family and part of a team dedicated to loving, serving, and preaching the Word with the purpose of seeing the Lord raise up an indigenous church among the people.

The Coicoyan People
High in the Sierra Madres del Sur (2000-8000 ft. above sea level) in 13 villages dwell 26,000 Mixteco speaking Coicoyan (the ’People of the Clouds’). They are not without religion but are without Christ. The conquering Spaniards brought Catholicism in the 16th century. Operation World describes it as ’largely Catholic in name but pagan in practice’. These practices include yearly animal sacrifices to their rain god, ’St. Mark’, along with more frequent sacrifices, and a drunken celebration to their patron saint. Holding to animistic beliefs leaves the people in bondage to their sin, superstition, and demons. This is strongly evidenced by the great lack of joy on their faces and in their hearts.

When do we go?
As soon as the Lord leads by meeting two needs. TETM follows Paul’s Biblical example in church planting: building a team. We are awaiting the Lord in the building of a team to reach the Coicoyan. Some are there already and others may be launched at the conclusion of the 2008 CPCP class in August. While we wait and make petitions to the Lord to this end, God has given us the gracious opportunity to raise 40% of our expenses. Our sending church, Faith Bible Church, is supporting us the rest of the way.

Will you go with us?
Everyone can be involved in missions by praying and by sending someone. We are asking you to beseech the Lord on our behalf if He would have you partner with us in proclaiming His name in Oaxaca, Mexico. We need your prayers. We also need financial supporters. It is incredibly important to us that our partners know that they are to inherit as much of a blessing as we do. It is as if they have done the work of ‘going’ themselves.
Should the Lord lead you to financially support us, please send it to:
